Buying property in another country is complicated. Most people go through it feeling like they are one step behind, unsure who to trust, what things actually cost and whether the paperwork is right. Ramiz has been there. Twice, as a buyer himself, before he ever became an agent.
What changed things was a notary table. An agent who read through the contract line by line, in English for him and Croatian for the seller, with no rushing and nothing glossed over. It was the first time the process felt like it was on his side. He decided that was worth doing properly.
Ramiz emigrated to the Netherlands from Croatia as a child and spent thirty-three years building a life there. Then he and Orson found the Opatija coast, kept coming back and eventually stopped leaving. He understands what it costs to build a home somewhere new. The paperwork, the uncertainty, the moment you wonder if you are making a mistake. That is exactly why he does this work the way he does. Human to human, from the first call to the keys.
From childhood, Ramiz stood between his parents, who came from Croatia and the Dutch society they had moved into. He translated, explained the paperwork and carried questions back and forth that neither side could answer alone. That role became part of who he is long before it became a company name.
For Ramiz, home is the feeling of truly belonging somewhere. Being able to be yourself. He wants every client to walk away with that feeling, not just a set of keys.
Ramiz leads on sales, buyer guidance and the overall direction of Link2Home. His friends and clients describe him as honest, easy-going and someone with a strong personality. Face-to-face conversation is where he feels most natural. He speaks Dutch, English, Croatian and German, often switching between two or three of them in a single day.
Orson runs property management and approaches it the way he approaches everything: with real attention to detail. He is comfortable scooping water out of a flooded apartment during a storm and greeting an owner for a routine inspection. Owners usually find out about the emergencies afterward, because by then Orson has already dealt with them.
